Reclaiming Public Space
As part of its 50th Anniversary, the Chicago Architecture Foundation invited 50 Chicago-based architects, artists and activists to develop inspirational projects for each of Chicago's 50 Wards. The resulting proposals became part of an exhibition at CAF called 50/50/50. “Reclaiming Public Space” is the second adventure of a four-part series on Vamonde that describes these visionary projects. The adventures explore social, economic and community development, celebrating unique traits of each Ward while imagining solutions to today's problems and creating a vision of the future.
